Thursday, October 4, 2012. We had the fun show at the barn a few weeks ago. The day before I set up a cross rail and then had to have someone keep putting the rails back up as Nina trotting across them and knocked them down. It was a departure from her Mach10 style the last time I tried jumping her so we did a class at the fun show. And she stood around at the ingate like an old pro. We basically looked at is like a dressage pattern, but as slow and loose-reined as possible. I tried finding the actual pattern but I think I pitched it. So, I decided to draw the pattern for you. We accomplished the pattern, not the slowest but we were half way collected and placed 5th out of like 9.

Saturday, December 4, 2010. Tack; The White Saddle! I blogged about Tekna. Overall my reaction was positive. But is it just me, or does synthetic tack of any kind, create a hard-to-avoid, immediate judgment of; novice, cheap etc? It seems that way. But maybe this new company will convert some. Friday, October 6, 2017. I read an article recently that talked about how loneliness creates stress, and stress can make you behave irrationally, and it reminded me of something that happened to me during a depressive episode. Cats have been a part of my life since I was a very small child. I tend to take care of them better than I take care of myself. Chronic depression has also been a part of my life since I was a child.
